Cross-border cases often pose particular challenges for social work professionals. This is why ISD has been organising specialist events and training courses on various topics relating to cross-border social work for years.

The new series "SOCIAL WORK ACROSS BORDERS" offers digital trainings to professionals several times a year. The training courses cover cross-border child protection, migration, human trafficking of children and young people, placements of children and young people abroad as well as family conflicts and child abduction with an international dimension. Professionals can gain an insight into the specifics as well as possible approaches and ways of international cooperation in cases of cross-border family conflicts.

ISD also offers lectures and in-house training courses upon request.
